This guide walks you through the entire journey - from before purchase to receiving your certificate - so you never get stuck at any step.
Before anything: one step you must not skip
Create a free account on the PECB platform first via: https://kate.pecb.com/
Why? Because the training materials and the exam are activated directly on your personal account on the official KATE platform. Your account there is your gateway to the content, the exam and the certificate, which is why we need the email registered on it to link your order to your account.
Without this step we cannot activate the course.
Step one: choose the standard
Go to the professional courses section and pick the standard that suits your field - ISO 9001 for quality, ISO/IEC 27001 for information security, ISO 22301 for business continuity, and so on.
If you are unsure, we have a separate article that helps you choose the standard for your specialization.
Step two: choose the level
Inside the course page you will find a "Choose Certificate" option. Select the level before adding the product to the cart:
- Foundation - to understand the standard; no prior experience required.
- Lead Implementer - to lead the implementation of the system within an organization.
- Lead Auditor - to plan and lead audit processes.
All levels are the same price, so the choice is based on your role, not your budget.
Step three: enter your PECB email
On the course page you will find the field "Email registered with PECB". Enter the same email you used to create your account on kate.pecb.com.
If you are buying for someone else (an employee or relative), enter their email, not yours, so activation happens on their account.
If you want an invoice in your company name, enter the company name in the "Company" field on the same page.
Step four: complete payment
Available payment methods:
- Mada
- Credit cards (Visa / Mastercard)
- Apple Pay (if available on your device)
- Installments via Tabby or Tamara - 4 payments, no fees or interest, subject to eligibility
Step five: activation
After your order is confirmed, our team activates the training and exam on your PECB account, and you receive a notification.
If you notice a delay, message us on WhatsApp with your order number and we will follow it up for you directly.
Entered the wrong email? If you registered on PECB with a different email than the one you entered on the order, contact us immediately with the order number and the correct email, and we will fix it before activation.
Step six: studying
Log in at https://kate.pecb.com/ and you will find the course and materials activated on your account.
What will you find?
- Official recorded videos from PECB
- Educational guides and explanatory files
- Practice questions and exercises that simulate the actual exam
Study is self-paced and on your own schedule - there is no fixed lecture timetable; study whenever and wherever suits you.
Step seven: the exam
The exam is online and remote through the official PECB platform - you take it from home or the office with no need to attend in person, and it is included in the package.
You set the date: after finishing your studies, book your exam from your account on the platform at a time that suits you.
And if you do not pass? The package includes one free retake. Review your notes and try again.
Step eight: the certificate
After passing the exam and meeting the accreditation requirements, your certificate is issued by PECB directly in your name through your account on the platform - an international professional certificate such as: PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer.
The certificate is digital, and your employer can verify it through the verification tools on the official PECB website (pecb.com), which gives it high credibility with employers.
A note on Lead titles
To earn the full Lead title there are professional experience requirements under PECB policy. Without sufficient experience, the certificate may be issued at a Provisional level and upgraded later once the experience is met. Message us before purchase to confirm the details of the course you are interested in.
