Slim, and lighter than the first generation
At 4.6 mm thick and approx. 360g, it's lighter than the first generation, which weighs approx. 375g. It fits in your bag with your notebooks and you can hold it in one hand while reading.
Write notes in your own handwriting with the InkSense Plus stylus
The stylus is included with the device and responds to your hand pressure with up to 4,096 levels, so the line thickness changes with the way you write, giving you a feel close to writing on paper. It also has a side button for quick shortcuts, and it charges via USB-C.

When should you choose BOOX Go 10.3 (Gen II)?
It's right for you if you want the closest experience to paper for reading and writing, and you mostly use it in well-lit places such as the office, the university, or during the day.
It may not be right for you if you read a lot at night or in low light, because the screen has no light and needs a light source just like a paper book. It's also not for you if you need a color screen, or you mostly watch videos and play games.
How is it different from a regular tablet? A regular tablet uses a backlit screen, while BOOX uses E Ink, which reflects light like paper, so it's easier on the eyes for long reading and uses less power.
What's the difference between Go 10.3 (Gen II) and Go 10.3 Lumi?
Both devices are from the same generation: the same 10.3-inch screen at 300 ppi, the same Android 15, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage, and the same included InkSense Plus stylus. Here's how they differ:
- Front light: Go 10.3 (Gen II) has no front light; Lumi has a warm and cold front light.
- Weight: approx. 360g on Go 10.3 (Gen II), approx. 364g on Lumi.
- Thickness: 4.6 mm on Go 10.3 (Gen II), 4.8 mm on Lumi.
If you mostly read during the day or in well-lit places and want the closest feel to paper, Go 10.3 (Gen II) is enough. But if you read a lot at night or in dim or dark places, Lumi is the better choice for you because it has a front light.
How is it different from the first-generation Go 10.3? Both devices have no front light and share the same screen size, resolution, and thickness. The second generation runs Android 15 instead of Android 12, comes with the InkSense Plus stylus with a side button instead of the BOOX Pen Plus, has Bluetooth 5.1 instead of 5.0, and weighs approx. 360g instead of 375g.
